Guidelines for Authors Seeking Publication
Thank you for your interest in The YLD Review. This publication seeks to provide a forum for the discussion of subjects pertaining to the regulation of the legal profession and improving the quality of legal services, as well as other matters of general interest to Georgia lawyers.
To expedite review of your submission, please adhere to the following guidelines.
Articles
- Must be 750-1,000 words in length
- Use endnote citations, if necessary
- Citations must be in Bluebook format
- Refer to “The Associated Press Stylebook” for grammar and usage
- Chat GPT and other AI-created articles are prohibited
- Submit draft articles in .docx format attached to an email addressed to both editors: Alec Chappell and Carlos Fernández.
- Submission must include:
- Headshot (JPG, PNG or TIFF format)
- Full name, job title, employer and city
- Submission must include:
2025-26 Author Deadlines

Submission of an article by a deadline does not guarantee inclusion in any issue of The YLD Review.
