Supreme Court of Georgia Approves Amendments to the Rules and Regulations of the State Bar of Georgia

The Supreme Court of Georgia, having considered the 2023-1 Motion to Amend the Rules and Regulations for the Organization and Government of the State Bar of Georgia with respect to Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct 7.1 through 7.5, ordered on November 18, 2025, that Part IV – Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct, Chapter 1, Rule 4-102 (Disciplinary Action; Levels of Discipline; Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct), Rule 7.1 (Communications Concerning a Lawyer’s Services), Rule 7.2 (Communications Concerning a Lawyer’s Services: Specific Rules), Rule 7.3 (Solicitation of Clients), Rule 7.4 (Reserved), and Rule 7.5 (Reserved), be amended, effective March 1, 2026.
