On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express congratulations to Worth County Solicitor General James E. “Jay” Crowe Jr. on his appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as judge for the Worth County State Court.

Judge Crowe will be well served by his 21 years of experience in the legal profession, during which time he has been engaged in general law practice, in addition to his service as solicitor general. He has also served his community as chair of the Worth County Economic Development Authority, past chair of the Worth County Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Sylvester Kiwanis Club and board member of Worth County Building Authority.

By accepting this appointment, Judge Crowe demonstrates his continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish him well in this new capacity of judicial leadership.
