Join us for a coastal Low Country Boil where you can relax and network with fellow Board members and their guests. Dinner will feature a viewing of "My Cousin Vinny" on the Oceanfront Deck. Popcorn and movie-themed snacks included.

SLD Savannah Road Trip and Reception | A Lowcountry Storytelling Experience
Join the SLD as they take quick trip down the road to Georgia's first city, Savannah, joined by a local historian who will bring the Lowcountry to life from Hilton Head to Savannah. Enjoy engaging stories about the region’s history, culture, people and places. The group will enjoy a networking reception with coastal SLD members at the State Bar's Savannah Office before returning to the Westin Hilton Head Resort. Beer and wine and light bites will be served.

YLD General Session
All members are welcome! Join us as YLD officers, directors and committee members share exciting updates and reports on events and projects happening across the state. Don’t miss this opportunity to stay connected and informed. 

5 – 6 p.m.
YLD Book Club
Join the YLD Book Club for a Fireside Chat with author Brinson Raley, who writes under the pen name Thomas Lee and serves as chair of the YLD Criminal Law Committee, for a conversation about how storytelling has helped sharpen skills as a young attorney. The first 30 registrants will receive a signed copy of "Capital Punishment: A Barrett Price Novel." The discussion will be followed by a reception.

YLD Dinner
All are invited to the YLD's sunset dinner by the ocean (weather permitting).

The discounted room rates start at $239 per night for a standard room and range up to $449 per night for upgraded-view rooms and suites, plus applicable taxes and fees, and are available for the nights of Oct. 15-18.
