YLD Signature Fundraiser

The Young Lawyers Division is excited to announce the 19th Annual Signature Fundraiser is returning to Macon in 2026. The event, which proudly benefits Middle Georgia Justice, will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28, at The Overlook on First from 6:30–10 p.m.

Notice of Motion to Amend the Rules and Regulations of the State Bar of Georgia

No earlier than 30 days after the publication date of this Notice, the State Bar of Georgia will file Motion to Amend the Rules and Regulations for the Organization and Government of the State Bar of Georgia, pursuant to the order of the Supreme Court of Georgia dated Dec. 6, 1963 (219 Ga. 873) and amended by subsequent orders, and published in the State Bar of Georgia Handbook.

I hereby certify that the motion contains the verbatim text of the proposed amendments as approved by the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Georgia.  Any member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia who desires to object to part or all of the proposed amendment to the rule is reminded that he or she may only do so in the manner provided by Rule 5-102 before Dec. 19, 2025. Any objections received or filed after said date will not be considered. This statement and the verbatim text of the proposed amendments are intended to comply with the notice requirements of Rule 5-101.
